2020/21

The RGPc is proud to announce the 2 recipients of the Specialized Geriatric Services (SGS) Grant for 2020/2021:

A grant was awarded for the project titled, Identifying and Disseminating Strategies to Support the Long-Term Care Sector Following Covid-19. This project is being led by Dr. Sarah Neil-Sztramko, Research Associate and Academic Knowledge Translation Advisor, McMaster University, National Collaborating Centre for Methods and Tools.

A second grant was awarded for the project titled, Mobilizing Specialized Geriatric Services to Identify and Triage Older Adults at Risk due to COVID-19 Pandemic Social-Distancing Practices. This project is being led by Dr. Melissa Northwood, Assistant Professor, School of Nursing, McMaster University.

I finally gathered enough courage to ask for your help regarding memory loss. I am 75 years old and have been noticing memory loss for the past year. I have an older brother who has Alzheimer’s and I would like to get help before I reach that stage.
