Geriatric Training Program Online (eGTP)

Registration remains open until early Sept for the Seniors Month special offering of the Geriatric Training Program Online (eGTP) from Jun-Sept. The program is self-paced and can be completed any time until Sept. The eGTP teaches the foundations of assessment and management of common geriatric syndromes. Stretch Lift Tap (SLoT) Program

The Regional Geriatric Program of Toronto has developed the Stretch Lift Tap (SLoT) Program which is both a philosophy and a set of tools designed to encourage older adults to embed functional exercise in their daily activities. Click here to access these resources.

Person-Centred Language eCourses

In 2020, Behavioural Supports Ontario (BSO), Ontario Centres for Learning, Research and Innovation in Long-Term Care (CLRI) and the Division of e-Learning Innovation at McMaster University (MacHealth) co-designed the free Person-Centred Language eCourses for individuals working in long-term care homes. The goal of these interactive eCourses is to raise awareness of how PCL can have a positive impact on communication and care, and help to reduce stigma and discrimination. These open access courses can be accessed here.
